This is an English translation of the Chinese privacy policy shown in the app and on the Chinese version of this page. If the two differ, the Chinese version applies.
What we process
The photos you choose. Photos are imported through the system photo picker, so FilmTable only receives the ones you select there and can’t see anything else in your library. Filters, adjustments, frames, collages, freeform layouts and portrait cut-outs are all computed on the device. Your photos never leave this iPhone.
Shooting information (EXIF). On import, FilmTable reads the camera model, lens, aperture, shutter speed, ISO and time taken, and uses them to fill in the text on frames. If a photo contains location data, FilmTable doesn’t read or use it.
Saving to Photos. FilmTable asks for permission to add photos only when you tap Save to Photos, and it writes only the image you exported.
Data stored on the device. Drafts, the nickname and avatar you choose, and the number of free saves used are kept in FilmTable’s own storage and aren’t synced anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.
Purchases
The unlock is an Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account information; FilmTable has no access to either. The app only checks the purchase record returned by Apple, on the device, to see whether you’ve unlocked.
What we don’t do
No account registration or sign-in, and no servers of our own.
No analytics, advertising or third-party SDKs.
We don’t track your activity in other apps or on websites, and we don’t sell or share data with any third party.
Permissions
Add Photos: used to save exported images to your library. It is write-only. You can turn it off any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos.
FilmTable doesn’t ask for access to your whole photo library, camera, microphone, location, contacts or anything else.
Children
FilmTable doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children. In-app purchases by minors are subject to Apple’s Family Sharing and Ask to Buy settings.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its effective date. Significant changes to how data is handled will also be mentioned in the app’s update notes.
About this website
This website is made of static pages. It uses no cookies, no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking code, and has no forms that collect information. Fonts and images on these pages load from this site.
Our hosting provider may keep access logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and operations; the provider handles these under its own privacy policy. We don’t use such logs to identify you.
